FIELD GUIDE 04 / 18

Walt Disney World · Bay Lake, Florida

Animal Kingdom

“nahtazu — it's not a zoo”

Disney's biggest park by far — 580 acres where a carved tree anchors a real savanna, a forbidden mountain, and a moon with floating rocks. Half the animals are alive; the rest are drawn below.

What makes this park itself.

This is the park that argues a zoo can be a story: real lions on a real savanna, one land over from a mountain guarded by a myth and a moon that glows when the sun quits.

Go at rope drop for the safari — the animals are up, the light is gold, and the line isn't. Then cross the whole park and let Flight of Passage ruin every other simulator for you.

The field map holds the Tree of Life at the hub, then lets the river paths, mountain, savanna, and Pandora pull the park into four different kinds of wilderness.
